For the gift of peace
Let us ask from the Holy Spirit the gift of Peace. Peace begins in our hearts, for only a peaceful heart can spread peace in the family, society, and international relations. May the Spirit of the Risen Christ open paths of reconciliation wherever there is war. May He enlighten those who govern and give them the courage to take steps toward de-escalation and dialogue.

With Jesus in the evening
Peace be with you!
As the day comes to an end, take a few moments to reflect on how the Holy Spirit has been present in your life today. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and allow His presence to calm your heart.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus says to His disciples: “Peace be with you.” (John 20:19-23). Then, He breathes the Holy Spirit upon them—the Spirit of love, mercy, and compassion.
Where have you encountered the Spirit today? How have you responded to His call to show compassion to others?
Pray: Come, Holy Spirit. Fill me with Your love.
